Before joining Rader Mayrose LLP as of counsel in January 2024, Craig practiced law with a national law firm out of the Phoenix and Las Vegas offices.
Craig grew up in south central Michigan and attended Central Michigan University before transferring to the University of Oklahoma. Craig received a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
After graduating from law school Craig moved to Arizona and was admitted to the Arizona Bar in October 1986, the California Bar in June 1995 and the Nevada Bar in October 1999. He is also admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Districts of Arizona, Nevada and the Southern District of California.
Subsequent to being admitted to the Arizona Bar in October 1986, Craig’s law practice has exclusively focused on litigation and he has represented individual and business entity clients in a wide variety of matters involving torts, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, breach of contract, commercial and residential construction defect, civil rights, and class actions. Representative cases would include motor vehicle personal injury and wrongful death claims; defamation; premises liability (retail and hotel casino); negligent security; construction worksite personal injury and wrongful death; class actions; and breach of contract.
Craig is a firm believer that the attorney client relationship involves:
- an early analysis of the facts;
- a candid, objective evaluation of the facts, the applicable law, the client’s claims or defenses, and the client’s potential recovery or exposure;
- timely communication regarding case developments, client options, and fees and costs;
- attention to detail; and
- preparation.
During the course of his litigation practice Craig has engaged in every aspect of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, responses, replies, discovery request, discovery responses, disclosure statements, depositions, hearings, settlement conferences, mediation, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.
When he’s not practicing law, Craig likes to engage in outdoor activities including hiking and chasing birds with his two German Short-Haired Pointers (Stevie and Toby), fishing, exploring Arizona, reading (history, presidential biographies, and humor) and walking.
