Jamie L. Mayrose is a founding partner of Rader Mayrose, LLP, and she maintains an active litigation practice and serves as a mediator. Jamie started her career in insurance defense, handling a wide variety of matters ranging from significant injury/wrongful death cases to professional liability defense – focused mainly on the defense of officers/directors, general contractors, and attorneys. Since starting her own firm, she has represented both plaintiffs and defendants on an array of tort and contract claims. Prior to forming Rader Mayrose, LLP, Jamie worked for two national law firms.
Mediator
While serving as a judge pro tempore, Jamie found real purpose in helping parties resolve their issues. She employes a mix of evaluative and facilitative approaches to mediation.
Her over two decades of experience help her quickly get to the crux of any case. Jamie utilizes a pre-mediation conference to ensure a thorough understanding of each side’s case so that she can effectively utilize the time at mediation.
Jamie charges $400/hour and conducts mediations either virtually or in-person.
Litigator
Jamie’s experience spans a wide range of claims in a myriad of forums. She has first chaired jury trials both as plaintiff and defense counsel. Jamie practices in state and federal courts, as well as actively arbitrating matters in AAA. Currently, most of her litigation is business vs. business; however, she has significant experience in defending companies in tort matters.
In Jamie’s construction practice, she represents owners and general contractors in all stages of disputes, including pre-suit counseling, administrative hearings, arbitration, and trial. Jamie’s construction experience includes construction defects in residential and commercial buildings, general contractor/subcontractor disputes, and construction site injuries/deaths. She also advises clients on construction contracts and drafting favorable language to include in such contracts.

- Appeared before the 9th Circuit and prevailed on a complicated jurisdiction issue in a matter involving tortious interference with contractual relationships and defamation
- Favorable results, including key summary judgment rulings, achieved in $11 million commercial tenant-landlord-general contractor dispute
- Successfully negotiated advantageous settlement during the second week of trial in a construction site wrongful death matter
- Achieved a complete defense verdict in jury trial involving breach of contract action between employee and employer
- Ex parte temporary restraining order obtained on behalf of non-profit private school

- Secured a defense award in arbitration involving a single-family home construction defect matter
